This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to update your website data in the chatbot interface so that your AI chatbot always has access to the latest information on your website.
Access to the "Website details" section

- Navigate to the detail page of your chatbot.
- Click on "Data sources" in the left-hand navigation menu to expand the available options.
Entering the website details

In the "Website details" section, you can specify which parts of your website the chatbot should use to learn and retrieve information.
Website URL
The "Website URL" field should already be filled in with the main URL of your website (e.g. https://www.paritydeals.com). Please note that the website name can no longer be edited after the product has been created.
Included paths
In the "Included paths" field, enter the specific paths of your website that the chatbot should take into account when retrieving data.
For example: If you want the chatbot to access the documentation area, add /docs.
The paths should be specified after the domain and separated by a comma.
Excluded paths
In the "Excluded paths" field, enter the paths that the chatbot should ignore.
For example: To exclude your privacy page, add /privacy.
As with the enclosed paths, only the paths after the domain and separated by a comma should be specified here.
Checking the crawled URLs

On the right-hand side of the screen you will see a list of "GECRAWLTEN URLs".
These are the pages that the chatbot has already accessed to collect data.
To get a more detailed view of the crawled data, click on the "Show crawled data" button.
Updating the website data

After you have made all the necessary changes to the included or excluded paths:
- Check the information to make sure it is correct.
- Click on the "Update website data" button at the bottom right of the screen to save your changes and update the data that the chatbot will use.
Remember to update the website details regularly so that the chatbot's data is always up-to-date and relevant to your users' requests.
