For the Internet offer of Helm & Nagel GmbH applies that with each access of users to a page from the Offer of Helm & Nagel GmbH and each time a file is retrieved, data about this process is collected and used to provide the content of the Internet offer for the duration of the usage process. Each time our pages are accessed or a file is retrieved, additional data is also collected and stored in a log file.

In detail, each data set consists of:

  • the date and time of the request
  • the amount of data transferred
  • the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)

Inquiries

Personal data from inquiries (e.g. e-mail address, names and other contact data) that we receive via the web forms or e-mail addresses (e.g. [email protected] or [email protected]) are stored on our mail server and processed for the purpose of handling the inquiry. A process is created in our electronic process system for inquiries.

Personal data from inquiries (e.g. e-mail address, names and other contact data), which are collected during telephone inquiries, are collected for the purpose of processing the inquiry. If inquiries are received by mail, the same procedure is followed.

There is no obligation to provide personal data for inquiries. However, a response to the inquiry can only be made if we can contact the inquirer.

E-mail communication

Inquiries and website registrations offers persons the possibility to get in contact with Helm & Nagel. Helm & Nagel GmbH informs these persons at regular intervals by e-mail about disturbances, changes and news.

The emails of Helm & Nagel GmbH may contain so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a thumbnail image embedded in such e-mails that is sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and analysis. This enables a statistical analysis of the success or failure of the email communication. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, the Helm & Nagel GmbH may see if and when an e-mail was opened by a data subject, and which links contained in the e-mail were clicked by the data subject, in order to optimize the e-mailing and to better tailor the content of future e-mails to the interests of the data subject.

We use Albacross, a company that provides lead identification and advertising targeting services, to manage and view our site visitors.
